CVL Ladies Black Tee
We Support Hendrix.
The CVL Ladies Tee was designed as our staple fundraising shirt for our littlest love; Hendrix. The CVL artwork is a copy of Hendrix’s own central venous line - the double lumen CVL is the device our Oncologist decided was the best option for our little Hendrix, mainly due to the requirement of three chemotherapy drugs to be administered in the one session. An inch long incision was made in his neck, the surgeon tunnelled into his jugular and placed both lines going in opposite directions in the artery. These lines are one size fits all (both adults and children), as you can imagine, this is a large apparatus to have surgically installed on an 8 week old baby (hats off to the amazing surgeons at Queensland children’s hospital) and was very shocking for mum to see as she hurried to his side in the surgical recovery ward.
