The Founder

What The Hell was founded by bereaved cancer mother Coralee, with the aim to replace some of her income while she stayed off work to take care of her 8 week old son Hendrix while he fought childhood cancer, read Hendrix’s story here.

The Cause

Short term the goal was to get through Hendrix’s treatment without having to sell half their stuff, long term the goal was to raise funds for childhood cancer research. In fact, we managed to raise some funds for zero cancer in the midst of Hendrix being declared terminal and passing away. 

The Goal

We raise funds for childhood cancer research so that one day, a childhood cancer diagnosis will not be earth shattering. So the children that have to go through treatment have better options than adult strength chemotherapy.

This research is extremely underfunded. With only 4% of the government cancer research funding going towards childhood cancer, we are taking things into our own hands and raising hell on childhood cancer.
